Binnen een partitie kun je de processor instellingen zien met het commando lparstat:

Hier kun je zien dat de processoren dedicated zijn, in capped mode staan, simultaneous multi threading aan staat en er twee logische processoren zijn. Dit laatste kun je controleren met het bindprocessor commando:

# bindprocessor -q

Simultaneous multi threading kun je bekijken en aan of uitzetten met het smtctl commando:

# smtctl

Netwerkkaart overzichten

Je kunt de netwerkkaarten aanwezig zien met het commando lsdev:

Zoals je hierboven kan zien heb je 1 logical host ethernet adapter met twee poorten. Deze poorten hebben elk weer een interface:

Met lscfg kan je ook de fysieke poort bekijken waar je gebruik van maakt:

Zoals je hier kan zijn zitten de poorten op dezelfde kaart maar hebben ze een andere locatie code. De T6 en T7 zijn de fysieke poorten, op dezelfde kaart.

Note: Een IVE/HEA kaart met twee poorten heeft 1 groep waarin beide poorten zijn gestopt om hier partities aan te hangen. Deze groep heeft 16 logical ports wat betekent dat er 16 partities aan kunnen worden gehangen. Dit is te veranderen door de MCS (multi core scaling) value aan te passen. Bij een waarde van 1 heb je 16 logical poorten, met een waarde van 2 heb je 8 logische poorten enzovoort.

De logische poorten die je hebt zijn te bekijken met het lsslot commando:

# lsslot -c port

Je hebt hier dus logical port 3 en 5 in gebruik.
