 +Zoals je hier kan zijn zitten de poorten op dezelfde kaart maar hebben ze een andere locatie code. De T6 en T7 zijn de fysieke poorten, op dezelfde kaart. ​

 +Note: Een IVE/HEA kaart met twee poorten heeft 1 groep waarin beide poorten zijn gestopt om hier partities aan te hangen. Deze groep heeft 16 logical ports wat betekent dat er 16 partities aan kunnen worden gehangen. Dit is te veranderen door de MCS (multi core scaling) value aan te passen. Bij een waarde van 1 heb je 16 logical poorten, met een waarde van 2 heb je 8 logische poorten enzovoort.
