deleteservice

Delete Service

In cmd

To Delete A Service

  • Click Start, click Run, type cmd in the Open box, and then press ENTER.
  • Type: sc delete <service name>
  • Reboot the system (not always required)

In The Registry

  • Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then press ENTER.
  • Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services
  • Scroll down the left pane, locate the service name, right click it and select Delete.
  • Reboot the system (not always required)
